The purpose of Casa Youth Shelter is to provide temporary shelter for runaways and youth in crisis, enabling them to come through the crisis with an increased personal strength and a sense of renewal while in a supportive environment, with family reunification as a primary goal.

Casa Youth Shelter recognizes that sometimes families need a time out. With individual and group counseling with the teen and joint and family counseling with the parents, many unsatisfactory family dynamics can be improved.

Casa is a modest dwelling on a quiet street that provides a home-like atmosphere for our guests. There are six comfortably-furnished bedrooms, and adequate facilities for private one-on-one as well as group counseling sessions. There are computer training classes, outdoor recreational facilities and a kitchen and dining area where staff and guests eat meals together.
