Board of Directors

The all-volunteer Board of Directors was first formed in 1977 with directors from private sector businesses and the community-at-large. Together with Myldred Jones, they drew up the necessary paperwork and Casa Youth Shelter was incorporated as a non-profit organization. Through the years, the board's composition has changed significantly and is today representative of the larger communities for which the shelter provides greatly expanded services.
