Casa Youth Shelter's mission is to provide temporary shelter and counseling services to runaways and youth in crisis, enabling them to come through the crisis with increased personal strength and a sense of renewal while in a supportive environment, with family reunification as the primary goal.

Volunteering at Casa
The programs at Casa rely heavily on caring, interested people who give their valuable time and effort to help us operate on a daily basis throughout the year. Approximately 300 individuals from the metropolitan Los Alamitos/NW Orange County area come together to provide assistance at the shelter and with special events such as the annual fundraiser, and to volunteer their labor for services as requested.
Our volunteers' contributions of time allow us to continue to offer a warm, home-like environment to our clients and provide the teenagers and their families non-judgmental and broad-based professional counseling services.
